Youth Cantor Ministry

Who: Auditioned members of choirs in grades 5 through 8 from the parish who lead the assembly through Psalms, Gospel Acclamations and hymns at school and weekend masses. 

Requirements:

• Audition
• Must be able to sing on pitch.

Expectations:

• Individually scheduled rehearsals with their director during school hours or choir rehearsals.
• Ministry at Weekend or School Masses as scheduled.
• Additional Preparation and Rehearsal at home.
• 1/2 hour Rehearsal with Organist prior to scheduled mass.
