Prayerful, Practical, and Personal

 Grief Support page
“Grief is like the ocean;
it comes in waves, ebbing and flowing.
Sometimes the water is calm,
and sometimes it’s overwhelming.
All we can do is learn to swim.”
You do not have to “swim” alone.
We are here to help you find peace, security, and support through your grieving.
We welcome you with open arms, as we too have lost loved ones and walked that path.
Please Come as you are, and be blessed by the Faith, encouragement, and help of others.
Your presence alone will be a blessing to all who attend!
Our next meeting is on January 11, 2024, as we are breaking for December. We meet every two weeks.
When: 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 7:00-9:00.
Where: Our Lady of Sorrows Family Center – Room #3/Chapel
Why: Scripture tells us: 1 Thessalonians 4:13
“We do not want you to be unaware brother, about those who have fallen asleep, so that you may not grieve like the rest, who have no hope.”
How: We use the principles we have learned from the “Grieving with Great Hope” program by John and Sandy O’Shaughnessy
