Baptism

Baptism is the public celebration of the beginning of life in the Church. At the celebration of Infant Baptism, parents publicly affirm their decision to raise their children in the faith.

Parents who are registered parishioners may contact the parish office at (248) 474-5720 to schedule a Baptism for their infant. Both parents should plan to attend the preparation class before the child is born.

Preparation classes for parents are scheduled bi-monthly on Saturday mornings (9:30 to 11:00 am). Godparents are always welcome to attend this session as well. Baptisms are usually celebrated on the first and third Sunday of each month following the 11:30 am Mass.
