WHAT ARE CHARISMS and WHY SHOULD I KNOW MINE? | WHY

What is Stewardship?

Stewardship is how we use our gifts of prayer, generosity, and service for the building up of God’s kingdom.

The Stewardship Commission is here to help you share your PRAYER (time), GENEROSITY (treasure), and SERVICE (talent), by becoming involved in the life of the parish.
Monstrance PRAYER is the most critical component of our relationship with God and puts us on the path to discipleship.  As we lift up and open our minds and hearts to Him, our hearts will be transformed to be grateful sharers of all we have been given.
Generosity GENEROSITY toward others and toward the Church is a sign of a deep relationship with God. Stewardship is about recognizing that all that we have is a gift from God. Sharing the gift of our treasure is a basic tenet of our faith.
Service SERVICE is a way to extend the love you have for God to others in the community who are in need. Our hearts were made for service. That is why when we share our talents through serving others, we feel good.

How we use the gifts of our prayers, generosity, and service, in other words, our stewardship of them, are the ways that our gifts are given for the building up of God’s kingdom.
